Pablo Hidalgo Promises Another Year of Trolling Fans
Like a human groundhog with encyclopedic knowledge of Star Wars, author and Lucasfilm Story Group executive Pablo Hidalgo has resurfaced to grant FakingStarWars an exclusive interview. It all began with Pablo posting the following tweet:

His followers quickly replied with shock and awe at the callous tone Hidalgo used in his complete mockery of what most Star Wars fans have been dreaming about for decades. While his sarcasm wasn’t completely out of character, it was surprising — even for him — to address the issue with such little tact. Despite being banned/muted/blocked by Hidalgo for past differences regarding his cultural, ethnic and religious origins, FakingStarWars leapt into action.
After tactfully asking him to delete his account, we followed that up with another message to make it clear that while Hidalgo may have blocked FSW, we’re still keeping score!

And just like that, our very own Punxsutawney Pablo felt the need to reply and address our concerns. In his exclusive tweet-erview, Hidalgo made it clear that he will continue to irk Star Wars fans on Twitter with sarcasm, condescension, cryptic nothings and general holier-than-thou-ness for the next 364 days. Ironically enough, “Beloved By Reddit” — as he titled himself — actually took more care in writing a reply to us than when he issued the initial tweet, dashing the hopes of millions of Star Wars fans around the world.
Until next year around this time or perhaps Cinco de Mayo, Pablo! Glad to see you haven’t lost a step! We’ll be waiting… and keeping score.
